I saw you standing across the room
and I knew you,

I saw you talking  with the people there
and I knew your voice,

I saw you laugh at what they said
and I knew your laugh,

I saw you coming slowly towards me
and I knew your walk,

I saw you look and smile at me
and I knew your smile,

I saw that puzzled look in your eyes
and I knew your eyes,

I saw that look of recognition that came
and I knew you saw

I have known you time and time again
I have known you across lifetimes

We are looking into each others eyes
and you have known me too

The circle of time has closed at last
We are meeting again to love

There is a place I know and visit 
that is just perfect in every way.

It is always open to everybody
and I go there every day

The age you are there 

does not matter

Colored skin is never seen

Handsome or Ugly makes no difference

Everyone is sorta inbetween 

The air will carry you most gently

You are weightless in this place

The rooms provide for every comfort

You can make it your personal base

"Where is this place?" I hear you wonder

"Would there be room for me to stay?"

Of course there is, and you are welcome

to watch a world so far below

Perfect peace

Like a leaf in a gentle breeze

Kissed by early morning sunlight

Caressed by softly falling rain

Endless movement

To float...

Like a flower on a deep blue lake

Floating quietly on little waves

Carried along by a spirit wind

Eternal Drifting

To forget...

To softly slide into the peaceful night

Covered by the velvet darkness

Hiding from the world that is
